Girls Varsity Soccer · Senior Spotlight: Girls soccer player Sally Napierkowski

Each day for the month of May, we will highlight our spring sports seniors.Starting with girls golf, we will move forward with girls tennis, girls lacrosse, boys lacrosse, track and field, girls soccer and finish up with baseball.

Today we move on to girls soccer

Sally Napierkowski is headed to Benedictine College in Kansas to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. Thank you for a wonderful four years at Holy Family Sally both on the athletic field and in the classroom and good luck in Atchison.

Here is the full quote from Coach Michelle Griego: “Sally is one top notch goalkeeper, who we were so lucky to have these past 3 years.   When I first met Sally she was this quiet sophomore and man how she has blossomed.  Now she is this strong vocal leader in our goal, on the field during practice and in the classroom.   She has worked so hard and it shows.  Sally has made some great saves here at HF and some were just jaw dropping.   Sally is all about having some fun, but also wanted everyone to work.  She was not shy about keeping her teammates accountable.   When she wasn’t in our goal, you could catch her on the field occasionally and as a sideline ref for our JV games.   Always ready to jump in whenever and wherever the team needed her.  There is no doubt why Sally was named our other captain for the spring season.   Sally is a great person and we are sad that this was our last season with her.   We wish Sally all the best in her next chapter at Benedictine College next fall.   There is no doubt that she will be doing some great things there.”
