Girls Varsity Soccer · Senior Spotlight: Girls soccer player Jules Geneser

Each day for the month of May, we will highlight our spring sports seniors.Starting with girls golf, we will move forward with girls tennis, girls lacrosse, boys lacrosse, track and field, girls soccer and finish up with baseball.

Today we move on to girls soccer.

Jules Geneser is staying close to home and headed to the University of Colorado in Boulder to study computer science and engineering. Thank you for a wonderful four years at Holy Family Jules both on the athletic field and in the classroom and good luck in Boulder.

Here is the full quote from Coach Michelle Griego: “Jules is a smart beautiful young woman who I have had the pleasure of coaching these past 3 years.   She is a great leader, person, and friend. There was no doubt why she was chosen to be one of our captains this spring.  Jules is such a versatile player who never misses a beat and is always ready to take the field at whatever position we put her at.   Always putting the team first.  A true coach’s dream.  Never looking tired as she transitioned on offense and relentless transitioning back on defense to slow down our opponents.  She is passionate, has a great attitude and has such a great work ethic.   No matter how hard we work in practice or how tight a game is, Jules is right there with a smile on her face and supporting her teammates.  I love her sense of humor and her ability to laugh at herself.   She is always striving to be the best not only on the pitch, but also in the classroom.  We are so proud of Jules as she will be moving on to CU Boulder next fall.  We are sad that she is leaving us, but so excited for her next chapter in life.  I know she is going to successful at whatever she decides to do.  That’s just how Jules rolls.   Hopefully we get to see her play again at the next level.”
