Tigers News · Baseball: Sixth-seeded Tigers set to host regional tournament

BROOMFIELD — Th Colorado High School Activities Association released the brackets for the Class 4A Regional Tournament on Wednesday morning and the Holy Family Tigers earned the No. 6 overall seed and will host Region 8 on Saturday at Kevin Ritz Field.

The Tri-Valley League champion Tigers (18-5 record) will open up with Denver North (16-7) at 10 a.m. The Vikings finished runners-up in the Denver Prep League.

The Western Slope’s Eagle Valley Devils (13-6) drew the No. 11 overall seed and will play #22 Centaurus (15-8) in the second game at 12:15 p.m.

The winners will play at 2:30 for the right to advance to next Friday and Saturday’s double elimination tournament in Colorado Springs.
