Tigers News · Volleyball: Tigers set to host Class 4A Region 8

On Monday, the CHSAA released the regional brackets for all five classifications of volleyball.

The Holy Family Tigers finished No. 8 in the final RPI rankings and thus earned the right to host the three team tournament, likely to be held on Friday

The Tigers (14-9) will welcome in the No. 17-seeded Pueblo West Cyclones and the No. 29-seed D’Evelyn Jaguars. Pueblo West finished as runners-up in the South Central League and were 15-8 during the regular season. D’Evelyn was the Jefferson County League runner-up and compiled a record of 13-10, which included a 3-2 win over the Tigers in August.

If the games are to be on Friday, look for the start times to be 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. The Tigers would play D’Evelyn first and then Pueblo West in the final game.
